Ink Eye

A bowl in the shape of an eyeball fills with black ink. A suspended writing tool invites the exhibition visitor to tap the “ink pupil” and write. However, any  attempt to dip the brush into the black liquid fails. As soon as the brush nears the black surface, the “pupil” retracts. Similarly, to approaching the mathematic pole, the materials can approach each other, but never touch. The point of contact lies in the neighbourhood of infinity, at the gap of definition.
